• What should be done if water is dripping through the tun dish?
  When water drips through the tun dish, it means that the expansion vessel air is depleted, or the Tempreture and pressure relief valve has activated. It could be that the valves have failed or a safety issue has presented itself and needs to be checked by a qualified Engineer.
• I have no pressure at my taps, what could be causing this?
  In this type of situation there are a few different problems which you could be facing. An Engineer will carryout checks on the supply to the unit, then check the pressure reducing valve. UIf they are present and correct, the cylinder can be drained to check for scale build up at the bottom of the unit.
• Why has my cylinder stopped producing hot water?
  There sre two types of unvented cylinder, direct being heated by electric immersion heaters or indirect which means heated by a boiler. If a direct unit has stopped working it could be a fsulty thermostat or immersion heater. If its an indirect unit it could be a blocked coil, failed thermostat or control device. A qualified Engineer will need to be called.
• Hot water is coming out of the taps discoloured?
  If you are experiencing dis-colouration of your heated water, it would usually be an indirect unit. Inside this cylinder is a coil which heated water from the boiler circulates. If this coilis split or has a pin hole, the water will mix and become contaminated. In this instance you will need a replacement.
